Mobile Coupons
Here’s an example of how to use Mobile Coupons:
A bakery in New York includes a card with their website and an offer to save up to 50% on subsequent return visit.
The customer visits the website and enters their name and mobile number.
The bakery sends out text messages with a mobile coupon offering discounts whenever they over bake a product.
The customer visits the bakery, shows the mobile coupon right on their mobile phone during checkout and receives a discount.
Frankly, customers don’t redeem paper coupons like they used to. It’s a hassle to print them, cut them out, and remember to keep them in your pocket so you can have them handy just at the right moment.
On the other hand, people have their phones with them at all times so the redemption rates for mobile coupons are much higher compared to paper coupons.
